Ladue CARE
Why Ladue CAREs
Ladue CAREs because we want everyone not only to love animals, but to learn more about their rights and respect them. Ladue wants to make a difference in the animal community, and we think CARE is a great way to start!
Events
We participated in the MICDS movie night towel drive and made dog toys to donate to a local animal shelter! We are planning on more fundraising and spreading awareness of animal rights and education.
Meet the Ladue Co-heads
Diya
My name is Diya Diwakaran and I’m a junior at Ladue. I am the president of the newly founded and branched CARE at Ladue. I CARE because I want everyone not only to love animals, but to learn more about their rights and respect them. I want to make a difference in the animal community, and I think CARE is a great way to start!
Katie
My name is Katie Eisenman, and I'm a junior at Ladue. I CARE because I love animals, and I want to help people understand why they are so special and why they need our help.
Catherine
My name is Catherine and I'm a junior at Ladue High School. Growing up, my parents weren't fans of big animals so I had many fish and a few hamsters. After 13 long years of begging, we adopted our two fluffy doggos. I think as humans, we often forget that we cohabit this planet with many other animals and creatures. When the consequences of human activities endanger other species, we should take responsibility of our actions and work to better their lives.
